There are a number of other options trading systems available to the retail investor. Most, harbour many deficiencies.
The common deficiencies are:
Offering markets with low liquidity.
Providing directional trading only.
Providing a limited number of strategies.
Providing these strategies in a limited number of markets.
Providing inappropriate strategies in changing market conditions.
Not providing ongoing advice for open trades.
Limited training, not only for their systems, but also lack of the expertise and knowledge needed to adjust open positions as market conditions change.
The principals and/or their representatives of some companies are either unlicensed or do not hold the appropriate license required by ASIC.
The refusal to provide commitment and timely advice to their subscribers when market conditions move against them.
Many brokers being motivated by the commissions they receive as opposed to offering sound trading advice to the client.
Any one of these deficiencies alone is a compromise on the ability for you to trade profitably and therefore successfully.
